Imperfections Give You Character

Writer Edward Wallis Hoch said, “There’s so much good in the worst of us, and so much bad in the best of us, that it hardly  behooves any of us to talk about the rest of us.”

Perfection is highly overrated … not to mention impossible.

Joyful Springers know that imperfections give you character.   They are proud of every little square nanometer of themselves.

You’re just right the way you are … imperfections and all.

Be Okay With Instability

You hear a lot about balance these days.  Your life should be in balance, the magazines and self help books say.

Balance, however, is highly overrated.  Sometimes things get a little cattywonkus.  And that’s all right.

Joyful Springers are okay with instability.  They know that a little imbalance can end up tilting you into something new and exciting.

Don’t worry about having perfect balance in your life.  Being off kilter can knock you into surprising joy.
