Tackle The Big Stuff

Chocolate lab enjoy the big stuff Tackle The Big Stuff

When you have a big problem, it isn’t going to help you to ignore it or run away from it.  The best way to chew through big life challenges is to put your paws on them and deal with them.

Joyful Springers tackle the big stuff and get it done.  They know putting off the whoppers in life isn’t going to bring much joy.

When you eagerly approach a big hassle with the expectation of chewing it up and getting rid of it, you quickly turn big stuff into old stuff that’s no longer an issue.

… another wise tidbit from a joyful CHOCOLATE LAB.

[Leo's back.  This young, exuberant Chocolate Lab is more than up to the challenge of tackling big ole rawhides.  See more great pictures of Leo on his Facebook page.  Thanks, Leo, for guest starring again on The Joyful Springer!]

Be Your Sweet Dreams

English springer spaniel be your sweet dreams1 Be Your Sweet Dreams

When you close your eyes to rest, your mind often wanders.  It can wander into the past and find unhappy memories, or it can wander into the future and conjure up sweet dreams of great things yet to come.

Joyful Springers are their sweet dreams.  They use their thoughts to live into what they desire, not what they regret.

You become what you think about. So if you’re rehashing bad memories, you become the negativity of your past.  If you’re thinking about things you’d like to have in the future, you become the joy of what is yet to come.

[I took this picture of Ducky when she was about 12 weeks old.  She'd just joined our family, but she settled in immediately and loved to snooze in my lap with her paws on the lap desk that holds my laptop computer.]
