If someone tells us we have a big head, that’s not a compliment.  But maybe it should be.

Joyful Springers know sometimes you need a big head.  They know that when others aren’t going to cheer for them and exult in their triumphs, they need to do it for themselves.

Instead of waiting for someone else to say, “You did good!”, do it for yourself.  Go ahead and be pleased with yourself. It’s called confidence.   There’s nothing wrong with acknowledging your value as long as you don’t belittle the value in others.

Go a little deeper today.  Don’t latch on to the first impression you have of what you’re seeing and hearing.  Look for the subtle layers in your experiences.

We jump through so many hoops to impress people.  We try to wear the right things and talk about the right topics.  We hide our true selves behind “acceptable masks” so people won’t disapprove.

Joyful Springers get real.  They don’t need anyone’s approval to be okay, so they don’t have to pretend to be something they’re not.

Don’t waste a single moment of today saying things you don’t mean and doing things you don’t want to do.  Be you.

If you don’t like something about someone you’re dealing with, don’t pay attention to that aspect of them.  Look for what you DO like, and you’ll find even more and more to like in no time at all.

Joyful Springers know two beds are better than one.  They do whatever is necessary to have as much ease and comfort in their life as possible.

Forget “no pain, no gain.”  The truth is that the more content and comfy you are the more you’re going to accomplish.  Do whatever you need to do to make sure you have cushy surroundings, and you’ll be amazed at what you can do.

We tend to look to others to tell us we’re okay, and when we don’t get the approval or praise we want, we feel lousy.

Joyful Springers prop themselves up.  They don’t need “atta boys” from others because they cheer for themselves.

You can be externally referenced or internally referenced.  When you’re externally referenced, your self esteem is out of your control because it depends on what others think.  If you want to take control of your life, look internally for the praise and encouragement you need.

Every single thing in our world is made of energy, and all energy is connected.  This means that you’re linked with everything in the world.

So when you judge someone or something, you’re judging yourself. No wonder you feel so lousy when you’re complaining.

Joyful Springers chain up.  They stay aware of their link with everyone and everything so they know that what they give away comes back to them.  This makes it easy for them to remember to give love and joy.

When you hate anything, you hate yourself.  Use appreciation to connect yourself to the flow of energy in the world, and you’ll love the way it makes you feel.
