Modesty is highly overrated.
Joyful Springers are proud of the good they do. They know they diminish their world by pretending to be less than who they are.
When you accomplish something, be excited about it. Share your good news. Celebrate yourself. Preen a little. Pat yourself on the back. The more you acknowledge yourself, the more confident you’ll feel, and the more confident you feel, the more good you can do in your world.
[Rainy's back. And look at this beautiful two-year old. She's sporting her medal for Canine Good Citizen. Her momma, Karen, says, “We had to pass a test with a judge watching. She had to walk nicely in a crowd, allow the judge to examine her, sit with a stranger as I left the building for 5 minutes, stay when I walked 20' away, and stay at my side as we passed another dog. It was a lot of distractions, and you know how hard that can be for a Springer!” Rainy was 1 ½ years old when she got the medal last June. Way to go, Rainy!! ]
