If you sit back and let others tell you what you can and can’t do, you’ll never get where you want to go. Bellying up to the truth of how magnificent you are will give you the leg up you need to achieve whatever you want to achieve.

Make Elastic Mergers

When we attempt to live with or work with other people, we often butt heads. Why? Because we remain stiffly determined to see things our own way and do things our own way.

Joyful Springers make elastic mergers. Even though they honor their individuality, they understand that in order to meld their energy with others, they must remain open to a different way of seeing the world and being in it.

Your connections with those around you help you expand far beyond any limitations you might have. So be fluid in your relationships. Be willing to understand others’ perceptions and actions and allow them to be just as okay as your own.

Make Way For Drowsy

Benjamin Franklin said, “If you can’t pay for a thing, don’t buy it. If you can’t get paid for it, don’t sell it. Do this, and you will have calm and drowsy nights, with all of the good business you have now and none of the bad.”

How’s that for simple economics?

Joyful Springers make way for drowsy. They spend only the money they have, and they put their energy into only enterprises that give them the “pay day” of joy and abundance. And they sleep peacefully each night.

When you live from where you are instead of overreaching yourself, you create a life of satisfaction and peace. This peace is what gives you the energy to expand into better and better places.

Take Your Place In Your Field

When you start a business or career, it can feel like you’re just one tiny bloom in a vast sea of wildflowers much more beautiful than you are. How can you compete with all the others who are doing something so similar to what you want to do?

You can’t. But you don’t need to compete when you remember that what you have to offer is original and wonderful.

Joyful Springers take their place in their field. They know that even in the midst of others who have already bloomed, they can grow into a powerful force.

Most of what you want to do is being done or has been done before. So what? Do it anyway. Do it YOUR way and blossom into the fullness of your gift to this world.
