Novelist and essayist Kahlil Gibran wrote, “Zeal is a volcano, on the peak of which the grass of indecisiveness does not grow.”

When you take action with enthusiasm, you never doubt.  Decisions are easy.  Progress is swift.

Joyful Springers carry with zeal.  They have no burdens because passion makes every undertaking decisive and easy.

If you’re trying to push yourself into doing things you think are good for you, stop.  Forget willpower and use zeal instead.  Find some path that lights a fire within and discover how easy it is to choose your direction and go quickly toward your desires.

Sometimes we just know something is the right thing to do.  Sometimes we’re not so sure.  When we’re not sure, it’s tempting to back away and not take a risk.

But we don’t have to use this either/or approach to life.  We can follow a middle road.

Joyful Springers reconnoiter when necessary.  When they aren’t sure of the next step, they move ahead slowly and investigate each possible direction.  They take a peek at options, and they don’t back away from any possibility.

Even if something you’re thinking about doing doesn’t seem quite right yet, don’t give up on it.  Explore it a bit. You might find an opening to a project, business, or relationship that feels comfortable enough risk.

The world is full of over-inflation.  We’re surrounded by people wanting to sell services or products to us.  Many sales people delight in puffing up their pitches; they make what they have to offer sound much better than it is.

Joyful Springers reject over-inflation.  They look carefully at facts and can spot a sales pitch that’s aimed at their emotional “hot buttons.”

Be aware that you’re surrounded by sales pitches everyday, and refuse to let those pitches push you into something you don’t need or want.
