Guard Your Treasures

English springer spaniel guard your treasures Guard Your Treasures

Have you ever noticed that we tend to be a little cavalier about what means the most to us?  People and places and things we love often get short shrift while we run around trying to accomplish this or that.

Joyful Springers guard their treasures.  They know how valuable their loved ones and things are, and they treat all they have as if it’s priceless, which it usually is.

Are you ignoring someone who loves you while you “network” to build a business so you can have abundance?  Are you shopping for new stuff while what you already have collects dust?  Put your attention and your gratitude on what you have now, and you’ll probably discover riches and abundance right under your nose.

You often hear people talk about “a taste of the good life.”  What’s the deal with that?  Why take just a taste of it?

Joyful Springer chow down on good stuff.  They don’t just taste life; they gobble it up, making the most of every experience they have.  They don’t just nibble at what comes their way.  They make everything a joyful feast.

Are you downplaying good things in your life?  Do you find a penny and think, oh, it’s just a penny?  Do you receive a small gift and wish it was bigger?  That’s just nipping at life.  Don’t nip.  Feast!  Be grateful and present to every little joy that comes your way.

Expect Great Things

Everyday, you go out into the world not knowing what will come your way.  Do you expect what’s coming to be good or bad?

Too many people live in dread.  They expect bills in the mail, traffic on the roads, annoyances at work, chores at home.

Joyful Springers expect great things.  They know the mail could bring money or opportunity—maybe even a gift, the roadways will be clear, work will be fun, and household tasks will be satisfying.

Your day will unfold the way you expect it to.  So what are you expecting?
