When we go about our business out in the world, we’re often so caught up in our thoughts that we don’t think about our manner and expression.  But everywhere we go, we can either enhance the landscape around us … or detract from it.

Joyful Springers enhance the landscape.  They understand that their friendly expression and eager posture can create a lot of beauty in the world.

Don’t underestimate the visual impact of a simple smile or upright posture.  The way you project your physical energy can have a wonderful influence on those around you.

[Bonnie is back. This five-year old rescued mixed bundle of love, had a great time during a recent snowing outing to the beach in North Carolina with her momma and daddy.  Bonnie, says her momma, Barbara Dunn, is "Oh so much an Eskimo dog ... the colder the better.”  Bonnie loves to romp in the snow.  Barbara says Bonnie “squints her beautiful Chinese eyes to keep the snow out and once in a while has to stop to pick off the snow balls that form around her puppy paws.  They get so big on her fur around her paws she looks very funny.  When we come in she waits patiently to be dried off and we play a game of ghost Bonnie (her under a big towel)!” Thanks, Bonnie, for guest starring again on The Joyful Springer!]

We live in a diverse world, and we have a choice about how we fit into it and how we perceive it.  We can either mirror the good in the world or the bad.

Joyful Springers match the beauty around them.  They look for the best in the world, and they match it with the positive energy of optimism and appreciation.

The universe is a flow of energy.  Your energy merges with the energy around you, and the energy around you merges with you.  If you want to have a better experience in the world, give the world the better part of you.

[Meet Barney.  This four year old handsome guy was picked up by the local shelter as a stray.  English Springer Rescue sprung him and David and Leila Morris fostered him.  Then  Woody and Anne Senn of Columbia, SC adopted him, and now he is the love of their lives. The Senns say that with Barney, they feel as if they "won the dog lottery."  He stays with the Morrises now when his parents go off for the weekend, so he has two loving homes.  Thanks, Barney, or being a Guest Star on The Joyful Springer.]

Ever noticed how some people always bring you down while others always lift you up?

We are energetic beings.  Everywhere we go, our energy touches what’s around us.  When we feel good, our energy vibrates at a high frequency that creates good feelings in those around us.  When we feel bad, our low frequency energy poisons everything we encounter.

Joyful Springers leave a happy wake.  They always find reasons to feel good so they share positive vibrations with everyone they encounter.

Contrary to popular belief, it’s not selfish to feel good.  The better you feel, the better others will feel when they’re around you.  Reach for good feeling thoughts so you can have a positive impact on your world.

[Meet Oliver, beloved Springer spaniel and family member.  7/2/94 - 2/27/10.  Oliver belonged to Abigail LaPan and her husband Tom and step-son Chris.  He was a happy fellow who loved boating (obviously), swimming, hiking, frozen yogurt, and Abigail’s home-made treats.  Oliver’s leash read, “I love to walk, eat, and play."  Oliver inspired Abigail to start a home-made treat business and later to start a dog grooming business.  Although neither is still in operation, Oliver loved his mom’s treats and haircuts.  Thank you, Oliver, for being a Guest Star on The Joyful Springer.  You will live forever in your family’s hearts.  And thanks, Abigail, for sharing this photo.]
